Concord men fall at Wheeling Jesuit

WHEELING — Ryan Meadows, a freshman from Princeton, scored 12 points in his second game for Concord in a 100-72 Mountain East Conference loss to Wheeling Jesuit in a late-ending contest on Monday night.

Meadows, playing in just his second game for the Mountain Lions, connected for two 3s and six free throws for Concord.

Fellow freshman Aaron Miller made five 3s and also collected four rebounds for Concord (5-7, 2-4), which will host Charleston in a doubleheader on Thursday at the Carter Center.

Justin Frittz led Wheeling Jesuit with 22 points and seven boards.

Cam Shannon added 12 points for Concord, while A.J. Williams added 10.

The Concord women also loss a 70-55 MEC contest to Wheeling Jesuit. on Monday night.
