PILGRIM’S KNOB — Twin Valley High School will host a boys and girls middle school tournament on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the school. BLUEFIELD — The local chapter of “Hillbilly Bassmasters,” one of the oldest bass fishing clubs in the United States, will hold a meeting on Sept. 15 at the Bluefield (W.Va.) TAZEWELL, Va. — The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office Relay for Life Team and the American Cancer Society are sponsoring a Trout Rodeo on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Tazewell Moose Lodge stream located just off Route 19. The stream will be stocked with rainbow trout and all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. RUN/WALK

BLUEFIELD — Bluefield State College will be sponsoring the third annual Brian A. Delp 5K Memorial on Sept. 27 at 9 a.m. at Glenwood State Park on Rt. 20. This year’s race will feature a 5K Run and 5K Walk, with a cookout after the race. The cost is $15 before Sept. 27 and $18 the day of the race. The 5K walk is $8. Trophies will be awarded to overall male/female winners in both races and the top three finishers in each age group in the 5K run. All registered participates will receive t-shirts.
