Hokies' to hold three open scrimmages

WVU tickets available

Virginia Tech will conduct three preseason scrimmages this month, and all three will be open to the public. The scrimmages will be held at Lane Stadium on Wednesday, Aug. 13, Saturday, Aug. 16 and Friday, Aug. 22 — in Lane Stadium. Each is scheduled from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m.

Remaining single-game tickets for West Virginia University football games go on sale Monday. Tickets are being sold through the Mountaineer Ticket office and are limited to four per customer. They are not being sold online. Buyers must have purchased tickets previously through the office.

Tickets for the season opener on Aug. 30 against Villanova in Morgantown are $45. Seats also are available for WVU’s road games against Colorado, Connecticut and Louisville.
