BLUEFIELD — A free Youth Baseball Clinic for ages 6-16 will take place Saturday, July 11, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Bowen Field. Bluefield Orioles players and coaching staff will conduct the instruction. Lunch will be provided. Participants must bring their own equipment. Registration begins at 9 a.m.

PRINCETON — The 13th annual Princeton Rays Youth Baseball Clinic will be held on Saturday, July 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hunnicutt Field. The clinic will be open to boys and girls 7-15 years of age. Instructors will be P-Rays manager Jared Sandberg, pitching coach Marty DeMerritt, hitting coach Rafael Deleon, and infield coach Dan DeMent as well as several P-Rays players. Cost is $33 per participant. Each camper will receive a clinic T-shirt, an autograph session and free admission to the July 18 game between the P-Rays and Pulaski. BLUEFIELD, Va. — Bluefield College’s women basketball camp will be held on July 13-17 and July 20-24 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Dome Gymnasium. Under the direction of Bluefield coach Steve Hardin and his staff, the fee is $100 for the ball handling and skills camp (1st week) and the same for the shooting camp (2nd week). BLUEFIELD, Va. — The first annual Ahmad Bradshaw Cross the Tracks Entertainment Football Camp will be held on July 13-15 at Graham High School for boys, ages 7-14. Registration forms can be picked up at the Bluefield (W.Va.) Police Department. Registration is $75. All proceeds benefit Bluefield Virginia youth football. The camp will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with lunch and t-shirts provided, and trophies and prizes awarded. Bradshaw, a Graham graduate, and currently a third-year tailback with the New York Giants, will be among the instructors, which could include other NFL players.
