BASEBALL

PRINCETON — The 13th annual Princeton Rays Youth Baseball Clinic will be held on Saturday, July 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hunnicutt Field. The clinic will be open to boys and girls 7-15 years of age. Instructors will be P-Rays manager Jared Sandberg, pitching coach Marty DeMerritt, hitting coach Rafael Deleon, and infield coach Dan DeMent as well as several P-Rays players. Cost is $30 per participant, with a late fee of $33 after July 1. Each camper will receive a clinic T-shirt, an autograph session and free admission to the July 18 game between the P-Rays and Pulaski. TAZEWELL, Va. — The United Way of the Virginias and Four Seasons YMCA are hosting the annual Green Dog 5K run and walk on July 25 at 7 p.m. Pre-registration is recommended and guarantees a free t-shirt.
