PRINCETON — The 12th annual Princeton Rays Youth Baseball Clinic will be held on Saturday, July 12, from 9:30 a.m to 1 p.m. at Hunnicutt Field in Princeton. The clinic will be open to boys and girls 7-15 years of age. Cost is $30 per participant ($33 after July 1). Each participant will receive free admission to the July 12 game between the P-Rays and the Bluefield Orioles. Pre-registration is encouraged as the clinic will be limited to 150 participants. PRINCETON —The Princeton Rays Professional Baseball Team has announced the formation of a “Kids Club” for area kids ages 12 and under. For a $12 fee, club members will receive P-Rays’ “Kids Club” t-shirt and receive free admission to all of the 34 P-Rays’ regular season home games this season just for wearing the shirt to a game. There will also be a “members only” picnic with the Rays’ team on June 15. There are numerous other benefits as well. BLUEFIELD, Va. — The Bluefield College Basketball Camp will be held on June 23-27 and July 21-25 at the Dome Gymnasium from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Under the direction of Bluefield men’s basketball coach Jason Gillespie, the instructional camp will feature t-shirts, prizes, devotionals, guest speakers and work on the fundamentals. PRINCETON — The Mountaineer Flag Football League will holding registration for the upcoming season every Sunday in June from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Princeton Recreation Center. BASTIAN, Va. — A Relay for Life Tournament, sponsored by GIV (General Injectables Vaccines), will be played on June 6 at Wolf Creek Golf Course. All proceeds benefit the Relay for Life. The schools involved include Princeton and PikeView high schools, along with Princeton, Glenwood, Athens, Mataoka, Oakvale and Spanishburg middle schools.
