A Mercer County woman who lost control of her vehicle Friday morning due to slick road conditions on Route 20, survived a ride over a 100-foot embankment because of her seat belt, police said.

“She was wearing her seat belt and that’s what saved her life,” Deputy J.D. Ellison of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department said. The 23-year-old Princeton woman was not injured in the crash, Ellison said.
