A McDowell County woman is currently in custody after admitting she was selling and trading prescription medication.
Linda Mae Beck, 46, of Bradshaw was arrested Thursday on charges of possession with intent to deliver prescription medication, according to McDowell County Sheriff Martin B. West.
West said Beck was arrested after deputies with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the Hatfield Bottom area of Three Forks near Bradshaw. As the result of the search, Beck was taken into custody.
“She (Beck) admitted to selling and trading her medication,” West said.
Beck was arraigned before Magistrate Daniel Mitchell who set her bond at $10,000. She was remanded back to the McDowell County holding unit pending transportation to the Southwestern Regional Jail in Holden.
