A mother and child missing in Monroe County have been found and are OK.
A state police spokesman in Union confirmed Wednesday that Melanie Pyne, 32, and her daughter, Hannah Marie Pyne, have been located and are fine. The spokesman said media publicity surrounding their disappearance, and tips from the public, helped in locating the two.
“They have been located, and they are fine,” the spokesman said.
The two had been missing for the past 10 days. Family members had last saw Melanie Pyne, and her daughter, just two days after Hannah’s first birthday, according to an earlier report by Cpl. S.S. Keaton of the Union detachment of the State Police.
