Community joins in prayer for two little angels

BRUSHFORK — On Sunday night, the Deliverance Temple church was the center of the universe in terms of prayers for a family and a community that are still in mourning over the loss of two young souls — Madison, 4, and her 22-month-old sister, Daralynn — who died Wednesday in a three-vehicle wreck on U.S. Route 52 in front of the church.

“I can’t give you strength, but I know the one who can,” Pastor Dave Kirby said to the large congregation that gathered for the service. “I’m here to lift up the one — my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Several family members of the two children attended the service as well as the firefighters from the Bluewell Volunteer Fire Department, paramedics from the Bluefield Rescue Squad, one of the drivers who was involved in the crash, and a church filled with community members — all of whom lifted up the memories of the “two precious angels” who attended the service.

For more on the service see tomorrow's Daily Telegraph.
