16 charged in indictment

BLUEFIELD — Sixteen individuals have been charged in a 51-count federal indictment on charges relating to the distribution of oxycodone in Bluefield and Wyoming County.

The previously sealed indictment, released to the Daily Telegraph Wednesday, charges Carlos Renaldo Ivy, Aaron O. Gamble, Eric Lee Flack, Ansel William Ponder, Danny Lee Decker, Joni Earlene Rash, Ralph Ray Cantley, Kathy Burchett, Elizabeth Ann Stewart, Tonya Lynn Goode, Anthony Lee Madison, Edgar Junior Ponce, Laken Nicole Myers, Randall Ray Parks, Lori Megan Falls and Eric M. Tiller with one count of conspiracy to distribute oxycodone at or near Bluefield and at or near Matheny, in Wyoming County, from April 2011 to April of this year.

Additionally, Decker is charged in counts two and five for distributing oxycodone at or near Matheny on May 9, 2012, and Feb. 7, and also in count six for aiding and abetting the distribution of oxycodone on Feb. 9.

Gamble is charged in count three for distributing oxycodone at or near Matheny on Sept. 19, 2012.

Stewart is charged in count four for distributing oxycodone at or near Matheny on Nov. 17, 2012.

Goode is charged in count seven for distributing oxycodone at or near Matheny on Feb. 9, 2012.

Ivy is charged in counts eight, 12 and 13 for distributing oxycodone at or near Bluefield on Feb. 22, April 15 and April 19.

Rash is charged in count nine for distributing oxycodone at or near Bluefield on Feb. 22.

Flack is charged in count 10 for distributing oxycodone at or near Bluefield on March 5.

Ponder is charged in count 11 for distributing oxycodone at or near Bluefield on March 18.

The indictment also includes 37 counts of knowing and intentionally using a telephone in committing, causing and facilitating the commission of a felony at or near Bluefield from Feb. 22 to April 20. Those indicted on this charge include Ivy (three counts), Gamble (one count), Flack (three counts), Ponder (three counts), Decker (three counts), Rash (three counts), Cantley (one count), Burchett (three counts), Madison (three counts), Ponce (three counts), Myers (three counts), Parks (three counts), Falls (two counts) and Tiller (three counts).

Ralph Ray Cantley is also charged in count 51 with knowingly maintaining a place for the purpose of distributing and using oxycodone at or near Matheny from May 2012 to April of this year.

Also, in another indictment, unsealed on Wednesday, five individuals were charged with the intent to distribute a controlled substance in Mercer County. Matthew M. Pigg is charged with one count for distributing hydromorphone at or near McComas on Feb. 12. Jennifer Marie Farley is charged with three counts for distributing hydromorphone on Nov. 9, 2012, Jan. 23 and Feb. 1, at or near Princeton. Kevin Eugene Petty is charged with three counts for distributing hydromorphone on Sept. 20, 2012, Sept. 26, 2012 and Oct. 3, 2012, at or near Bluefield. Lakeisha Danell Howze is charged with two counts for distributing hydromorphone between September 2012 and January 2013, at or near Princeton. Rickey David Coburn II is charged with six counts for distributing hydromorphone between September 2012 and January 2013, at or near Princeton.
