The red carpet movie premier of “A Christmas Tree Miracle” will take place next week at The Chuck Mathena Center.
Area residents will be able to meet and greet with Kevin Sizemore, a Princeton native, and other cast members of the movie on November 16 at 5 p.m.
“The whole point of the event is to celebrate Kevin and his success and also getting the holiday spirit started,” Greg Puckett of the Princeton Renaissance Project said. “Around 300 tickets so far have been sold and the word is spreading like wildfire, everything is really coming together,” Lori McKinny of the Princeton Renaissance Project said.
At 6 p.m. Delnora Reed, also a Princeton native, will perform an acoustic set before the movie.
“All the proceeds will go to the Princeton Renaissance Project to help revitalize the Mercer Street area,” Puckett said. “It is going to be a great event.”
Sizemore stars in the feature film, “A Christmas Tree Miracle” directed by J.W. Myers and written by Ty DeMartino. Most of the movie was filmed in the Wheeling area.
The movie will follow with a question and answer session after the movie.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $20 for two adults, $10 for students and $5 for children 12 and under.
