On Tuesday evening deputies with the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at the Claypool Hill Pharmacy, according to Sheriff Brian Hieatt.

When officers arrived they found that someone had attempted to break into the pharmacy. Hieatt said video footage that has been collected as evidence show what appears to be a female wearing a light colored hoodie and jeans.

Hieatt said Captain Neil Turley is asking that anyone with any information that may be helpful to the case to please contact the Detective Division of the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office at 276-988-5970.

Hieatt said officers with the detective division are continuing to evaluate evidence found at the scene and investigating vehicles that were in the area during the time of the incident.
