PRINCETON — Multiple charges including first-degree murder in four separate cases, child abduction, and robbery are among the indictments handed down by the October session of the Mercer County Grand Jury.

Tracey Atwell, 38, of the Spanishburg area faces charges of first-degree murder, first-degree robbery and child abduction in the April death of his wife, Christina Marie Atwell, 33, of Rock and the abduction of his 8-year-old daughter, Porsche, said Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ash. Atwell’s daughter was found safe after an extensive search.

Atwell allegedly stole his parents’ 1999 Jeep Laredo.

The grand jury also indicted Tammy Lee Keen, 39 and Thomas Tyler Hall, 39, both of Princeton. Both have been charged with first-degree murder, robbery and conspiracy in the death of Timothy Leon DeWitt, 41, of Princeton. DeWitt’s body was found March 13, 2011 near the end of Eads Mill Road.

A Virginia resident, Chad Hylton, 35, no address available, was also indicted on the same charges of Keen and Hall, Ash said. Hylton is currently being held on unrelated charges at the Montgomery County Jail in Christiansburg, Va.

A Wyoming County man, Gerald W. Little, 60, was indicted on charges of first-degree murder, burglary, and first-degree robbery. Little was arrested after the March 1 murder of Princeton resident Jerry Buckner, who was found stabbed to death at his Honaker Avenue home.

Lorenzo Christopher Barnes, no age available, of Princeton was indicted on a charge of first-degree murder in the Feb. 2 shooting death of Jason Hicks, 30, of Princeton at a parking lot on North Wickham Avenue in Princeton.쇓
