Hundreds of children attend second annual Easter egg drop

BLUEFIELD, Va. — Hundreds of children and families gathered at the Graham Recreational Park this afternoon to await a helicopter filled with Easter eggs.

The second annual egg drop was organized by the Crosspointe Community Fellowship Church of Bluefield, Va. Charity Cook, event organizer and a church member, said last year’s event brought approximately 4,000 people to the park. Children at the event were able to play on inflatables, get their faces painted, and participate in the helicopter egg drop and egg hunt. Free food and other activities were also provided for families in attendance.
