Prostitution stings continue in downtown Princeton. According to Princeton Police Chief J.W. Howell, three women were arrested during an undercover operation Thursday evening between 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Samantha Graham, 20, Monica Combs, 27, and Amanda Presutti, 29, all from Princeton, were charged with first offense prostitution.
Det. Sgt. D.B. White headed the operation.
“We also had help from the Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force and the State Police BCI in Beckley,” Howell said.
Howell also said if any prior charges are discovered the charges will be amended to fit.
The women are being held at the Southern Regional Jail in Beckley.
White said the undercover stings will continue in downtown Princeton. He, along with Howell, have noticed a change in the number of arrests since last summer’s sting in July.
“We got 12 in one night. This year, we got three,” White said.
They believe the undercover work, along with foot patrols, are making a difference in the downtown area of Princeton.
