Blue Ribbon Highways Commission announces Mercer meeting

PRINCETON —  The West Virginia Blue Ribbon Highway Commission is holding nine hearings around the state to field public comments on the condition of the state’s roads and future funding options. Each is scheduled for 4-7 p.m. except the Aug. 12 hearing in Princeton, which is slated for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

— Thursday, July 11: Martinsburg, Holiday Inn;

— Tuesday, July 16: Logan, Chief Logan State Park;

— Thursday, July 18: Huntington, Marshall University Alumni Hall;

— Tuesday, July 30: Wheeling, Oglebay Park;

—  Thursday, August 1: Parkersburg/Wood County, Mineral Wells Comfort Inn;

— Thursday, August 8: Fairmont, Robert H. Mollohan Research Center;

— Monday, August 12: Princeton, Days Inn;

— Monday, August 12: Beckley, Mountaineer Conference Center;

— Thursday, August 15: Elkins, Days Inn.
