PRINCETON — Two people were treated for injuries following a three-vehicle wreck on Courthouse Road in Princeton Friday.

Trooper First Class S.R. Moore with the West Virginia State Police Princeton detachment said the collision was a “chain reaction,” but the cause is still under investigation.

The wreck occurred at approximately 12:35 p.m. between the Veterinary Associates clinic and entrance to Roselawn Funeral home on Courthouse Road when a white Nissan Maxima was rear-ended by a white Chevrolet Lumina. The Lumina was in turn rear-ended by a black Ford Explorer.

Moore said the female driver of the Lumina was transported to Princeton Community Hospital by the Princeton Rescue Squad while the female driver of the Maxima later drove herself to the hospital.
