HARRISVILLE — A West Virginia State Police spokesman says three men have been arrested in a break-in at a State Police detachment in Harrisville.

Sgt. Michael Baylous said Friday several items were stolen Oct. 30 from an evidence room.

State Police didn’t specify what items were stolen and Ritchie County Prosecutor Judi McCullough didn’t immediately return a telephone message Friday.

Baylous says John M. Richards and William W. Estep II, both of Vienna, and David C. Wine of Parkersburg were arrested Thursday.

North Central Regional Jail records show the three are charged with conspiracy to commit a felony and burglary or daytime breaking and entering. Estep and Wine also face grand larceny charges, while Richards also is charged with accessory before the fact.

Jail records didn’t indicate whether the suspects had attorneys.
