Four busted for prostitution

PRINCETON — Authorities have arrested four women in an undercover prostitution sting in Princeton.

According to Princeton Police Chief J.W. Howell, Samantha Graham, 20; Connie Hambrick-Tilley, 39; Ashley Hammond, 29; and Fallon White, 23, all of Princeton, were each charged with first-offense prostitution. The sting took place on June 6 from 4-8 p.m., Howell said.

“We utilized a joint effort with the Princeton Police Depart-ment, the Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Taskforce and the Bureau of Criminal Investiga-tion in Beckley,” he said. “We used undercover police officers and all of the women were picked up in the Mercer Street and Thorn Street areas.”

All four women were taken to the Southern Regional Jail.

The penalty for first-offense prostitution is 60 days to six months in jail and a fine of $50 to $100.

Howell said authorities began planning the sting last week.

They hope to continue the effort and help revitalize downtown Princeton.
