Police get report of truck jumping ramp in front of church

BRUSHFORK — A report was made Monday after a pickup truck’s driver was seen doing stunts in the parking lot of a church near the scene of a recent crash that took the lives to two children.

A neighbor of the Deliverance Temple on U.S. Route 52 reported seeing a Ford Ranger or Chevrolet S-10 truck going into the church’s parking lot early Monday morning. The driver drove up an asphalt ramp at the church’s front door three to four times at high speed, and became airborne at least once, said James Cleary, 41, of Brushfork.

The truck then left and went to Route 52. No damage was reported.

Two children, 4-year-old Madison and her sister, 19-month-old Daralynn, died March 5 in a crash in front of the church.

Pastor David Kirby said the incident was reported to law enforcement authorities. No additional details were available Monday.
