Drivers' names released in deadly crash

PRINCETON — At a press conference Thursday evening at the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, Lt. Joe Parks released the names of the drivers involved in the wreck Wednesday evening that resulted in the deaths of two small children.

Terri A. Wright, 28, of Glen Lyn, Va., was driving a 2000 Chevy Corsica when it was struck two times by two separate vehicles on U.S. Route 52. Both victims were females of preschool age, Parks said.

The other two drivers included Harold Brown, no age available, of Bramwell and Jackson Carter, 40, of Princeton. The sheriff’s department is waiting for the report of a West Virginia State Police reconstructionist before releasing anymore details.

Sheriff D.B. “Don” Meadows said the reconstruction expert will be at the scene of the wreck on Friday.
