A South Carolina woman escaped serious injuries this morning after the Ford Windstar she was driving crashed and overturned on Interstate 77 south of Princeton.
The crash was reported 9:55 a.m. between the eight and nine mile markers south of Princeton. Linda Hague, 57, of Summerton, S.C., said she felt a bump from behind before losing control and overturning. Firefighters and personnel from the East River Volunteer Fire Department and the Princeton Rescue Squad freed Hague from her seat belt. She declined medical treatment.
Trooper D.C. Graham of the West Virginia State Police detachment near Princeton said the driver might have fallen asleep.
