Virginia man facing charges in Mercer County of soliciting a minor via computer

PRINCETON — A Virginia man who was arrested this morning by the West Virginia State Police has been arraigned on charges including soliciting/enticement of a minor by computer and use of minors in filming sexually-explicit conduct.

John Howard Reynolds, 38, of Honaker, Va. has been arraigned before Mercer County Magistrate Mike Flanigan and committed to the Southern Regional Jail in Beaver on a $40,000 bond, said Sgt. M.K. Summers of the West Virginia State Police.

The offenses allegedly occurred on or about August 2012 in Mercer County. No additional information was released due to the age of the alleged victim, Summers said.

Reynolds faces felony charges of soliciting a minor via computer, distribution and exhibiting of material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct prohibited, and use of minors in filming sexually explicit conduct prohibited.
