BLUEFIELD, Va. —
The Tazewell County Sheriff’s office hopes the public can help identify the person or persons who stole approximately 800 pounds of copper from a Bluefield, Va., Industrial Park business.
Detective Adam Crouse of the Tazewell Sheriff’s office said the thief or thieves gained access to the building by forced entry and took two reels of cooper valued at an estimated $2,400.
“We’re seeking help from the public on this investigation,” Crouse said. “Maybe someone heard something that can help us identify the person or persons responsible for the theft,” he said.
Crouse said the theft took place during the nighttime hours of Jan 16.
