Princeton man charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering, burglary

PRINCETON — A Princeton man has been arrested in connection with a string of vehicle break-ins and burglaries that occurred at two Princeton estates over the past month.

Zachary Harman, 19, of the Princeton area, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering, as well as one count of burglary, fraudulent use of an access device and driving suspended, Deputy J.D. Ellison, with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, said Monday.

Ellison said the breaking and enterings and burglary occurred at Quail Valley Estates and Shenandoah Estates. “The Quail Valley incidents happened about a month ago, and the ones at Shenandoah just happened last Monday morning,” he said.

“We had six vehicle breaking and enterings and one outbuilding, and one burglary at Quail Valley,” Ellison said. “And at Shenandoah we had a total of three vehicles broken into that we know of.”

Ellison said Harman was arrested last Monday, June 30. He was arraigned last week and bond was set at $50,000.

Harman is currently incarcerated at Southern Regional Jail.

Ellison asked that anyone with additional information on these or other incidents contact the Sheriff’s Department at 304-487-8364.
