Two people escaped injury Tuesday after their vehicle flipped on Interstate 77.
According to Trooper W.C. Tupper of the Turnpike Detachment of the West Virginia State Police, the vehicle was traveling southbound on I-77 in Mercer County when the driver fell asleep at the wheel, and the vehicle drifted off the left-hand side of the road.
When the driver woke up, he overcorrected and the vehicle flipped, Tupper said.
No injuries were reported. The Princeton Rescue Squad and East River Volunteer Fire Department responded to the crash.
