U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., said this afternoon that he is hoping to hear something soon from the VA Administration as it relates to a veterans outpatient clinic in Mercer County.
Manchin, who met with students and area veterans Monday on the campus of Concord University as part of his “Commonsense Solutions” tour, said he hopes to hear something on the outpatient clinic within the next 90 days.
“I would hope it would be positive,” Manchin said. “We are very hopeful, but we could be let down overnight.”
