Bluefield hospital receives certificate of need for $3.3 million project

BLUEFIELD —  Bluefield Regional Medical Center has received a certificate of need that will allow the facility to add diagnostic equipment.

James L. Pitrolo, Jr., chairman of the West Virginia Health Care Authority, announced that the authority has granted a certificate of need to BRMC for fixed site magnetic imaging resonance services.

The project’s cost is $3.3 million, Pitrolo said.
