The Mercer County Commission voted unanimously to reschedule trick-or-treat for Saturday from 6 p.m to 8 p.m.
According to County Commissioner Jay Mills, the city of Princeton will follow the county commission ruling and will also reschedule trick or treating for Saturday, starting at 6 p.m.
The county commission cited the state of emergency, declared by Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, as the reason why they didn’t want to hold trick-or-treating on Tuesday or Wednesday.
