BLUEFIELD, Va. —
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will serve as the Shott Lecture Series speaker, when the series resumes on Oct. 30, in the Dome Gymnasium of Bluefield College.
The Hugh I. Shott Jr., Foundation initiated the series in 1988, with an appearance by former U.N. Ambassador, Jean Kirkpatrick, followed by former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger in 1991, former Vice President Dan Quayle in 1997, Bill Bennett, American political columnist in 2001, and former Homeland Security Chief Tom Ridge in 2006.
