AFTERNOON UPDATE: Five coal trucks destroyed by fire in Keystone

KEYSTONE — Firefighters from the Keystone and Northfork volunteer fire departments battled an early morning blaze that destroyed five coal trucks that were in a parking lot behind the former Keystone Hardware building.

The fire erupted at about 2:30 a.m., and at least three firefighters — two from Keystone and one from Northfork — were transported to Bluefield Regional Medical Center for treatment. The State Fire Marshal was called in to investigate.
