AFTERNOON UPDATE: Arrest made in hit-and-run

WYTHEVILLE, Va.– An arrest has been made in a hit-and-run incident that occurred July 7 and injured a child on Bear Branch Road in Buchanan County.

Brandon Kyle Childers, 18, of Vansant, Va. was arrested and charged with hit and run with personal injury, said Trooper Gene Crouse of the Virginia State Police.
