AFTERNOON UPDATE: Bailey to get $1,000 scholarship

— MONTCALM- Despite a strong effort generating more than 2,000 votes online, a Montcalm High School student did not win the top scholarship being offered by West Virginia Wesleyan College.
Brooke Bailey, an upcoming senior at MHS, will receive a $1,000 four-year renewable scholarship. She was among 12 students across West Virginia competing for votes on the Internet.
