Evil people are the problem, not guns

The shooting of innocent children in Newtown was a terrible thing. They say that the shooter had a mental problem. I disagree. All of the multiple murders that have occurred since 1950 have been committed in a gun free zone. In other words, no guns were in the area when the crime took place.

Our elected officials would have us to believe that guns have a mind of heir own. Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. But our so-called leaders don’t have a clue as to how to solve this problem.

These people who go on a rampage are not mental, they are full of the devil. If people lived their lives as Christ, no harm would come to anyone. But we have leaders who don’t follow the teachings of God and Christ and therefore the rest of the nation’s follows down the wrong road. Proverbs 28:2 says, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” A lack of Godly leadership in this country is one of the biggest problems America has to overcome.

Dec. 7, 1941, Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and that drew us into World War II. After the war was over, the Emperor of Japan was asked if his country thought about invading the U.S. The answer was yes, but they didn’t because they knew every house in America had one or more guns. Our strong belief in God and our right to own guns, I believe, have kept foreign troops off of our soil.

In Switzerland, every house has a gun with someone who can use it, the government makes sure of it. Hmm, imagine that. On the other hand, in Australia, the government bought all the guns that people had, and the crime rate went up 20-25 percent. My point is this, guns are just metal and plastic. Without God and Jesus in people’s heart, the evil will continue no matter what laws are passed. When people continue to put God and Christ aside, evil will get worse. Heed the warning from God’s word. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and every nation that forgets God, Psalms 917. We need strong leadership in this country, I pray that we can get it.

Oh, I failed to mention the worst tragedy involving murdered school kids. A man in the Midwest got angry because he thought the government was trying to take his land by overtaxing him. So he bought some TNT and blew up a school, killing 40 children. When did this happen you might ask? In 1927. Since the fall of Adam and Eve, there has been evil in the world, and the only way to fight it, is with the word of God. Think about it America.
