Huffman, others honored at museum

— — I am one of several volunteers at the Mercer County War Museum located at the Memorial Building in Princeton.

This is to let the public know that the recent return of the Korean War veteran, Pfc. Ronald Cales Huffman, is listed along with 38 other veterans of Mercer County who were causalities of the Korean War. There are two plaques with these 39 names, one in the foyer and one upstairs. I truly regret that I was not able to be there for his memorial service.

My brother, Pfc. Lonnie B. Hylton Jr., was killed in action on July 16, 1950, at the Kum River battle, however, he was listed as missing in action for four years. In September of 1954 his remains were found, identified and returned. Memorial Funeral Directory and Mr. Clarence R. Noble made the arrangements for our family.
