Record crowds attended the Princeton AutumnFest last Saturday. The Princeton-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce wants to thank all of the thousands of people who were there.
One of the reasons an event is successful is due to the public participation and on Saturday, September 28, 2013 that was the case. It was a family event with 102 vendors setting up.
We had pumpkin painting, pumpkin eating contest and a pumpkin cook-off. There were bounce houses, a car show, and music in the square, a fun dog show, craft and food vendors and good weather. There was something for all ages.
Besides the hard work from the AutumnFest committee and the many volunteers that helped, what really made the difference was the community support and that is what this letter is all about. The community should be applauded for supporting this event and getting reacquainted with downtown Mercer Street.
The Princeton-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce wants to thank everybody that was involved in this year’s Princeton AutumnFest.
