Turn light needed at Rt. 52 intersection

— On June 17 at 9:15 in the morning I was in a wreck. We were driving on Airport Road when a woman swerved and hit us. My two brothers, a friend and I were hurt for a couple of weeks. My friend was put in the hospital because he was hurt so badly. What we went through was horrible. Something needs to be done with that intersection. I think everybody who drives through there would agree. The turning lane onto Airport Road (from Route 52) needs a turning light.

There have been many wrecks at that intersection. A light will only help. The people driving are also texting and talking on the phone. Even if you are a cautious driver, it doesn’t matter because there are drivers not being cautious and causing wrecks every day. If you’re driving you don’t need to be on the phone texting or talking. You, and the police, are the only people who can stop that.

I’m 17 years old and I’m tired of all the wrecks happening because people are not paying attention. How would you feel if you caused a wreck and there was a baby in the back seat that got hurt or worse? Sorry doesn’t fix that.
