Thanks for Bluefield Young Life help

Bluefield Young Life held its first annual 5k fun run/walk in Bluefield City Park recently. It was a sunny and brisk day for the numerous participants that ran or walked. We are grateful for the large number of participants, individuals and teams who helped raise funds for this worthy cause benefiting the young people in the two Bluefields.

There were several local businesses that supported this effort and we would like to acknowledge and thank them.

Sponsors were: Arcadis, Bluefield City Parks and Recreation Department, Grant’s Supermarkets, Mefcor, The Palmer Law Firm. Business partners included Allstate, Chick-fil-A, Cornerstone Gift Shop, Food City, Mayflower, New People’s Bank, Paper and More, Pro 1 Therapy, Sam’s Club, Secare Lawn Service and Southern Gas and Oil.

We are sincerely grateful for each and every person and company that participated in making Bluefield Young Life’s first 5k a success! We look forward to hosting this fun event next year.

The Bluefield Young Life Committee Members & Area Director, Justin Cason Bluefield
