Bluefield Daily Telegraph
When I submitted my letter to the Telegraph concerning tolls, I did not intend to offend or imply anyone was greedy/money hungry, and I sincerely apologize if it was taken that way. I did, however, wish to pinpoint the inequality of these tolls.
We can see now that these tolls provide much needed revenue, and since they do, why not add more to other parts of the state? This would be more equal and greatly increase a much need revenue, provide a few more jobs, and no one could speak of an inequality or unfairness.
If this would not be a good idea, why not as our senator suggested a few days ago, cooperate even more to come up with an even better solution that benefits everyone?
If we ask for God’s guidance, and really try, there are usually good results. I write these letters to share ideas, whether they be concerning social, financial, historical preservation issues, etc., in hopes they may be beneficial to someone in some way.
I have been at times a little repetitive, however, with these suggestions but sometimes (they) seem to have slipped through the cracks.
I so want positive and helpful things for everyone.
