Better upkeep needed for overlook

— Recently I took a friend to East River Mountain Overlook for a picnic and to celebrate her 91st birthday. The day was great, the weather was ideal.

The trip would have been more enjoyable if the grass was mowed, weeds cut, bathrooms open and the trash cleared from under the picnic tables.

This area is a wonderful advertisement for the area. What a shame visitors from out of town have to see how well it is not taken care of.
