Thanks for support of Crafters’ Bazaar

— Thompson Valley Community Center hosted its Crafters’ Bazaar on June 7. We would like to thank all the vendors who participated in our event. Everyone had a variety of wonderful items for sale. With the help of the following, more than $800 was collected from the raffle of the quilt and proceeds from the hot dog sale for the purchase of a long-arm quilting machine. Our group has a long way to go; this event has made our journey closer to our goal.

We would like to thank Barbara Smeltzer, Renae Hall, Susan and John Reeves, Jasmine Barr and Matthew Allison for all their help to make the event a success. Special thank you to Thompson Valley Market, Food Lion, First Sentinel Bank, Ronnie Allison, Debbie Roark, Cynthia Griffith, Shirley Presley, Phyllis Blankenship and Elizabeth Bennett — your contributions were very much appreciated.

Congratulations to Larry Poskas of Thompson Valley for winning the quilt raffle. We appreciate you supporting our group.
