Action an embarrassment to W.Va.

— — Here we are in this beautiful state finally getting things done like they should have been done years ago. We are being bombarded by numerous types of crimes and the perpetrators are being punished but now a volunteer fire department chief moons members of the Bluefield Daily Telegraph and no mention is made of any type of punishment.

What is the matter with this individual? Why wasn’t there any mention in the article of any sort of repercussions from this disgusting act?

To think that he is in charge of our sons and fathers working for him in a dangerous job and he is nothing more than dirt in a wagon track. How does an act like this look when a visitor to our area happens to read this story? What would they think of Princeton and of West Virginia? I personally believe he should be fired and if he happens to get paid for his position then we are throwing money away down the sewer.

Ms. Carlon R. Hutton
