Thanks for cleaning up illegal dump

— — llegal litter dumpers in Mercer County beware! There is a new sheriff in town, so to speak.

I was privileged to meet our new Litter Enforcement Officer Greg Reed and Eli Testerman from the Solid Waste Authority recently when they were on site in Bluewell cleaning up an illegal dump. They had the help of the Mercer County Day Report Center, and they were busy cleaning and looking for addresses and other leads that will lead them to the illegal dumpers! Bluewell applauds these fine individuals for their sincere efforts.

Also, shame on you folks who are illegally dumping trash in our beautiful state! I hope you get caught and have to pay a healthy fine I would love to see your picture in the paper too, so we know how shameful you really are!

Littering is so ignorant. We are smarter than this people. Let’s take some pride in West Virginia. All-terrain vehicle visitors are flocking here and we need to show them beauty, not unsightly litter. Thanks again Greg, Eli and the Day Report Center.
