No defense for church vandalism

— In the June 10 Charleston Daily Mail there is a reprint of an article by Telegraph reporter Kate Coil about vandalism at the Trinity United Methodist Church (June 8).

Any such thing is bad enough in itself, but there are no words strong enough to describe the spray painting of anything such as “Satan,” “(expletive deleted) God,” and “(expletive deleted) religion,” on the back of the church. Even the strongest words one can think of to label this kind of action seem too mild.

Now to be sure every person who has ever lived on this earth with the exception of Jesus Christ, has had the potential to engage in this kind of conduct, for Jesus Christ alone was perfect and sinless. But that is no defense for anything of this kind.

Whomever did this — I hate to think of what will happen to you at the final judgment.
