Enforce the texting ban law already

— What happened to no more use of cell phones while driving, and that goes for texting. I came out of the courthouse on May 8 and my wife and I were in the pedestrian crosswalk and a black Dodge truck came within inches of hitting us.

I hollered out to no avail, he kept going. The sad part about it, it was right there at the courthouse and not one of the police officers saw it.

If West Virginia is going to enforce then enforce it.

Not changing the subject — but what happened to litter control? There’s just as much trash in ditch lines as it ever was.

Why can’t the state highway department crews clean the ditches, or better yet get some of our prisoners and make them earn their keep.

One more thing — who in their right mind would want West Virginia for a tourist state. What is there to do. All they think about is the Hatfield-McCoy Trail.

Our so called leaders had better find another tourist attraction or good-bye to West Virginia. Just my opinion.
