Removal of tolls: Jobs are on the line

Anyone who has money and owns a business that has to travel the turnpike wants the tolls gone. Politicians who have a business that runs the turnpike wants the turnpike tolls gone. If the turnpike is eliminated what is going to happen to the employees who are laid off?

What about their mortgage payments and other bills? There are no jobs around here to compensate for all the employees that may get laid off.

The Division of Highways cannot keep up with what they do have let alone another 88 miles of highways.

These politicians and business owners need to look more in-depth into taking the tolls off or keeping them on instead of worrying about how much money they will save.

Route 460 is sometimes a mess, just imagine how many shut downs it will cause if the state takes over. People’s jobs are on the line.
