Thanks for mobile veterans clinic

— — My thanks to Congressman Rahall, Senator Manchin, Senator Rockefeller, Governor Tomblin, local legislators and all who wrote letters or made phone calls on behalf of our veterans. You were instrumental in making our voice heard and bringing the mobile clinic to our area. Thanks too to Al Hancock for his untiring devotion to this cause never losing sight of his dream.

He is a huge inspiration to me and others alike. Our veterans deserve to have health care readily available locally, and the mobile clinic makes that possible. Tuesday, Feb. 18, was an exciting day for our veterans, Mercer County and the region.

Now it’s up to us to keep the clinic in Mercer County. Veterans need to register through the VA so they can utilize the services the clinic provides.

We need to inundate this clinic, keep our numbers up and show the VA the mobile clinic provides a much needed service to our veterans in Mercer County and the surrounding region. Remember to thank a veteran.
