Thanks for great emergency care

Bluefield Daily Telegraph

— — As we were attending our booth in celebration of Oktoberfest in the city of Bramwell on Oct. 12, one of my dear friends collapsed. Fortunately, various medical professionals were present and immediately swung into action — actions that could have saved his life, but most certainly prevented the onset of additional medical maladies.

Shortly after calling 911, the Bluefield Rescue and Ambulance Service arrived on the scene. Without reservation and or hesitation, BRAS assumed control of the situation with the capable assistance of the other professionals already on the premises. Within minutes, my dear friend was stabilized and subsequently transported to Bluefield Regional Medical Center. My dear friend has recovered, and conveys a great deal of gratitude to all those who responded to his situation.

On behalf of my dear friend and his family, please accept this letter as both a commendation and profound thanks to the city of Bramwell, all the medical professionals who rendered services, especially to the Bluefield Rescue and Emergency Services for their expertise.
