Pet Haven appreciates holiday help

— — The Pet Haven Rescue Center wants to thank the many individuals and businesses that made this one of the best holidays that we have ever had. First off, we need to thank the many people that donated food and supplies to the Bluefield Daily Telegraph/Prerogative annual shelter drive and to the people that put this drive together and made sure that it went smoothly. This is something that we always look forward to and we thank the Daily Telegraph for allowing us to participate.

We also need to thank Drema Ritter and her Red Hat Darlings for their donations during their final holiday meeting. We are going to miss those very sweet ladies that made up that group. And thanks to Holly Jackson and her art club students of Graham High School for their fantastic fundraiser for us. These kids did such a great thing and even brought the items to our shelter for us.

There are also so many people that we want to thank for bringing donations to our store and our shelter and to the ones that sent us gift cards to purchase food and supplies. Our animals are going to eat very well for several weeks.

And a special thank you goes out to Pup n Sudz Pet Grooming and the guys at Leedy’s Garage for not only their holiday donations but their help all through the year.

Again, thanks to everyone for your generosity. The Pet Haven would not be able to work the way we do without your help.
